I’m Unplugging March 7 for Global Day of Unplugging. Join the Movement!

Global Day of Unplugging, March 7, 2025

A December 2024 survey* commissioned by UScellular found that 90% of parents say they monitor their kid’s phone usage, and 76% of youth say their parents think that they are on their phone too much. Children also shared that their parents may not practice what they preach, with 63% of youth reporting their parents have ignored them when they are on their phone – while only 41% of adults admitted to this behavior.

That’s why Global Day of Unplugging, March 7, is a great time for a device break. Unplugging for the day can help us reset in-person relationships for better digital habits. Come join the movement! Unplug on March 7 (or really any day in March) and share your participation at  uscellular.com/unplugging to help spread the word. It’s about spending time and connecting with those in our lives who matter most. @uscellular, @globaldayofunplugging, @boys&girlsclubs, @USCC, @UnplugCollaborative, @Alanis Morrisette, @HARDY, @Chase Rice and several collegiate athletes.
